Maths tutoring - Past work

In order to bring the subject some significant context, I think it would certainly work to start a theme by first reviewing its utility. Then I would run through some simple cases. I need to emphasise that there are no stupid questions, anything to help a tutee's understanding is essential. After I have actually gone through a couple of cases, I wish to have the student run through their personal example, speaking with me as if they were the tutor and I was the tutee.

Many studies have actually revealed that aiming to clarify a concept you have just learned helps greatly in remembering and comprehension. If I'm satisfied with their training, I would love to check their critical thinking by setting an issue based on whatever discovered in the lesson, however with refined changes that need the student to proactively involve with the work, as opposed to be on "autopilot".

Homework will be established on the material discussed (absolutely nothing too intense), and also further lessons will be spent responding to exam-styled enquiries before proceeding to the next topic.

During lessons I want to urge a rather casual, pleasant environment. I enjoy training, and I really hope students have a good time in my training sessions, and also an unwinded mind is much better at studying.
